We are looking for a Qualitative UX Researcher to join our team generating insights on users of our platform and analyze the data in order to turn it into useful recommendations for other departments in the company.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Interview and observe doxy.me customers both in person and over the phone or Internet.
  • Design, conduct, transcribe, and analyze interviews with doxy.me customers
  • Design and prepare field studies with a plan for analysis.
  • Extrapolate useful data from interviews and other research methods.
  • Perform first-hand observations of doxy.me users while they engage the platform.
  • Present data and make recommendations to leadership team.

Required Skills

  • Candidates should have experience using a variety of qualitative methods, such as interviews, focus groups, and field studies.
  • Experience with UX and usability testing is preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to present research findings.
  • Strong ability to read people and elicit useful information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Ethnography, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Qualitative or UX researcher.
  • Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
  • Portfolio of previous research and or presentations is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • Prolonged periods of working at a computer.
