Since our inception in 2000, we have been creating and building best in-class online retail platforms and we are continuing to invest heavily in our in-house Customer Experience team based in the brand new Tech Hub, in White City, London.

In our temple of innovation, the E-commerce team build and perfect the online stores for our four brands (Net-a-Porter, Mr Porter, THE OUTNET and YOOX) as well as providing a white label platform used by many global luxury brands. As we take the business into the future, the E-commerce team is leading the way with exciting projects developing artificial intelligence (AI) and the next wave of mobile technology.

As our Junior UX Researcher, you will work collaboratively with teams across the business to ensure your research drives the business strategy and user experience of our digital products forward.

You Will:

  • Working with the Senior UX Researcher you will be developing & maintaining a deep understanding of our target audiences, their behaviours, needs, goals, passions and expectations and disseminating this knowledge throughout the business
  • Helping to manage program of Customer and UX research across the NET-A-PORTER brand’s products, aligning initiatives with business needs, maximising research investment and helping stakeholders to prioritise activities. This includes advising on budget planning.
  • Helping to create best-in-class experiences on the NET-A-PORTER brand’s products by conducting research as well as advising based on heuristics, desk research and prior insights
  • Conducting tactical and strategic research projects from scoping through to implementation, creatively making use of the most appropriate methods and tools
  • Integrating research into all phases of the product development process
  • Translating research findings into easily communicable artefacts, e.g., user journeys, videos, storyboarding, to bring findings to life and obtain buy in

You Have:

  • Exceptional customer-focus with expert knowledge of Ecommerce, usability and experience design.
  • A keen interest and awareness of future developments in website trends and innovations.
  • Experience shaping a research program across multiple streams of work
  • Excellent research skills across the full lifecycle of research
  • A broad range of experience including tactical and strategic, lab and field, qualitative and quantitative methodologies (including synthesis of both), quick-turn around and larger scale, multi-method projects
