Job Summary:

User Experience (UX) Researcher I - 3378 General Characteristics Plans and conducts user experience (UX) research activities to provide input into UX design. Representative Activities In collaboration with internal clients, identifies, designs and conducts appropriate UX research activities to collect UX data and feedback. Communicates the findings of UX research, including structured reports, and makes recommendations to internal clients such as design, development, product owners and sales and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs, facilitates and executes research, testing and feedback activities for Lowe's customers and associates
  • Defines research methodologies and best practices and ensures execution to these standards across the research team.
  • Defines and oversees the reporting of user-centered success metrics and OKRs.
  • Leads the analysis and presentation of customer data and testing results .
  • Understands the interrelationship of products across a broad product suite and has a deep understanding of end-users and touchpoints across the broader user journey
  • Partners with UX, Product and Business stakeholders to drive refinement of touchpoints and experience across user journeys
  • Stays current on best practices, looks for opportunities to incorporate into the work of the product research team and drives operationalization of new practices with UX and broader Tech organization
  • Oversees the work of researchers spanning multiple product suites and across platforms
  • Provides direction and mentorship to researchers on the team
  • Works cross-functionally across Lowe's technology, as well as across the enterprise, ensuring key research findings are shared and key relationships are fostered across our Omni-channel partners
  • Drives strategic conversations to influence ongoing research activities and product roadmap opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with User Experience teammates and product partners to deliver timely, key insights and actionable research findings
  • Identifies and implements training opportunities to evolve the skill set of the broader team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field).
  • 7+ years of experience in UX Research or closely related field
