Pinterest is looking for a Qual UX Researcher to join our growing Discovery Product Research team. In this cross-functional role, you will play an integral part in developing products that demonstrate the unique value that Pinterest delivers in driving inspiration to action. You’ll work alongside product management, engineering, design, product marketing, data analysts, and content strategy to create impactful new features for advertisers that will expand the number of Pinterest advertisers and increase advertiser retention. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding users and helping to create world-class advertising products that connect both people and businesses, as well as understanding and improving the experience people on Pinterest have with discovering and saving content. They will be crucial in identifying the needs of our Pinners who are saving & retrieving content and working to define solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct research that varies in approach, scale, scope, timeframe and methodologies (may include ethnographic, interview, participatory workshops and usability)
  • Proactively communicate and share your research findings with team members, executives, and other audiences in compelling, actionable, and engaging ways
  • Lead research projects from beginning to end (including recruiting, moderation and report writing both independently and with vendor partners)
  • Develop alignment with cross-functional partners and designers across the Core Product org

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years experience designing and conducting end-to-end product research, from recruitment through final deliverable
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Scrappy can-do attitude with a bias for action and a focus on impact
  • Experience in ads or business/enterprise industries, a plus
