If you're an experienced and confident UX designer with a full range of UX skills from interaction design to research and prototyping, and you're up for a challenge - read on.

We create software for accountants, at an exciting point in time - and we need a senior designer (maternity cover) for 12 months, to carry on with an exciting brand new product we're launching in 2022.

This is an exciting opportunity for a UX Designer to join a leading fintech Company to sit within their technology team for cloud-based software (we provide SaaS solutions). We make tools that improve the lives of our customers and their end-clients.

We’re looking for a UX designer with a focus on Interaction Design. Being well versed in Human-centred Design / Design-thinking methodology – is a must.

This Role Suites People Who Are

Confident and attentive facilitators. Love to delve into complex workflows (it is accounting and tax after all!). Don’t shy away from working closely with developers in Agile teams. Evangelise UX and the user’s point of view.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a lean UX process – from Discovery to design and feedback iterations
  • Run user research studies and tests
  • Iterate quickly within an agile process (we use SAFe)
  • Build strong relationships with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Product Managers and Developers, as well as with other UX team members

Essential Skills (candidate Must Demonstrate)

  • Communication – at all levels and formats
  • Facilitating design workshops using Lean UX
  • Producing user Journeys, wireflows and wireframes
  • User testing – planning, executing, analysing, reporting back
  • Deep understanding of UX principles
  • Figma, Axure, Sketch or other wire-framing tools
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a UX design role
  • Producing high quality presentation and reports
  • Highly self-organised
  • Working with planning tools like JIRA

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software delivery team
