As a Senior User Researcher at CLEAR, you will lead, design, execute, and communicate impactful research in a fast-paced product development process. You will champion a user-centric mindset by building a deep understanding of users' problems and turning research into insights that inform product thinking. This position will be based out of our New York office.

What You Will Do

  • Select and communicate the appropriate method (or mixed-methods) to answer product team and leadership questions and drive all stages of User Research
  • Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to identify high-impact work, prioritize research needs and ensure findings land within the organization
  • Conduct research that varies in approach, scope, and timeframe across multiple work streams
  • Compile and present findings in actionable and compelling ways to deepen understanding of the user experience, drive product improvements and inform product strategy
  • Empower Product Designers and Product Managers to learn and apply user research skills by providing support and coaching
  • Understand and incorporate complex regulatory, business, and technical requirements
  • Contribute to the development/building of CLEAR's user research practice and infrastructure

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience designing and conducting end-to-end user research (from scoping and recruitment through insights share out) as part of cross-functional teams
  • Experience with a wide range of qualitative research methodologies and proven ability to execute the right method to get the needed result. Bonus: experience designing and conducting mixed-methods research studies
  • Experience translating research findings into actionable recommendations and narratives that impact product decisions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills
  • Clarity to break down complex problems into simple questions
  • Degree in Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or related discipline, or comparable experience
