The Opportunity

As a UX Researcher at Peakon you will create empathy and understanding around our users needs and convey to the wider team of designers, product managers and engineers.

You’ll be joining as the second person in the growing UX Research team, and help expand the team.

In this role, you will be working across our product teams and help them build features for their specific personas and periodically be fully embedded into specific product teams where research is needed for a given quarter. Together with the PMs you and the UX Research team help identify knowledge gaps for any given project and based on these you will lead research planning, execution, analysis and synthesis. Furthermore you will work in partnership with the other UX Researcher thinking holistically about the user experience across the Peakon platform.


  • Research planning, collaborating with the team to formulate assumptions and hypotheses, identifying analysis metrics, choosing the appropriate methodology for the desired research outcome, producing research guides etc.
  • Overseeing and conducting research studies using user interviews, surveying, focus groups, field studies, testing etc.
  • Run and maintain our research panel in collaboration with the UX Research team
  • Analyze user behavior from analytics data
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, leadership and sales to turn insights into product recommendations
  • Deliver research insights with clear recommendations to the wider team
  • Help designers and product managers with use best practices for user research
  • Partner with the UX Research team to conduct research projects
  • Create and maintain a UX improvements backlog together with the UX Research team
  • Creating user personas, user journey maps and some wireframing
  • Conducting competitive analysis and market research
  • Keeping up to date with UX research best practices and new research tool


Our ideal candidate:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with multiple qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies, spanning the product development life cycle
  • Great communication, interpersonal and written and spoken communication skills
  • Preferably experience working with or in a B2B SaaS company, but not required
