‍The opportunity

‍We are looking for an exceptional Senior UX Researcher to join our Strategy & Innovation team. This is an opportunity to work on wide-ranging, strategic projects spanning multiple teams and departments and shape the direction of our Product and Technology teams.

Our Strategy, Research and Innovation team works on large cross-pillar programmes and helps validate our strategic roadmap for the next few years. You'll be working with a cross-functional team, to explore, validate and incubate key strategic bets, and outline the future direction and work for the wider tech organisation.

As a holistic thinker, you'll be passionate about understanding all things about our users, whether that be a customer, restaurant partner, couriers or our internal teams that support them. You'll be hungry for insights - keen to get stuck in and uncover our users' needs across the end to end experience, then using these insights to help shape the vision and strategy.

‍Key Responsibilities

Research Ownership - The Sr. UX researcher owns the research process and output and conducts regular research that answers stakeholder questions. You design the methodology, identify who to talk to, facilitate individual sessions, analyze the data, and write high quality, impactful reports. You take every opportunity to share your research to enable more confident decision-making for your stakeholders.

Communicate - Communication is at the heart of everything you do. You treat your stakeholders as partners in the research process. You keep your stakeholders involved in the research process, through regular touchpoints. You share your learnings widely in a way that makes sense for the audience, by developing punchy and impactful insights.

Build Empathy - The Sr. UX researcher advocates for and ensures that the voice of the user is heard in everything you do. By leveraging your expertise and rigorous research, you use user stories and learnings to educate and influence stakeholders into making informed decisions. You strive to ensure that your stakeholders know how your users behave, think, and feel.

Teamwork - The Sr. UX researcher takes a collaborative approach and fosters strong relationships with their team, stakeholders, and with people in the wider Just Eat community. You work well with others and give/receive feedback in a way that builds people up. You seek out opportunities to coach and mentor others.

‍Your Profile & Experience

Required skills and experience

  • Significant experience with a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods to deliver high-quality and actionable research
  • Able to deal with complex research questions, often with a global reach, and apply the correct methodologies
  • Experience with managing stakeholder across numerous departments and working collaboratively with other disciplines
  • Ability to craft clearly defined research objectives/goals out of stakeholder questions and to work towards answering them
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to apply high standards of rigour towards analysis of data
  • Can synthesize learnings/findings into evergreen themes and communicate them broadly outwards
  • Ability to craft well-written and β€œpunchy” research reports for varied audiences and mediums
  • Significant experience with presenting findings to large audiences and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to take ownership of the entire research process, from ideation through to playback, with a focus on working collaboratively
