User research has become an important part of the success of Earnest. As the Research Designer, you will innovate and lead research practices at Earnest in two key areas. You will lead our Usability Lab, our lightweight and impactful qualitative research program. We use respondent interviews to understand our users better, test and refine prototypes, and determine messaging. With the Usability lab, we can set up research in a couple days, and build on findings quickly. You will collaborate with folks across departments to determine research goals, manage respondent recruiting, moderate interviews, and deliver findings. You will also create and run an in-house quantitative research program. The goal here is to create a quick, efficient mechanism for us to survey people. The learnings from this program will be used to guide business, product, and marketing strategy. You will report to the Head of Research and you'll work on
