Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Science, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in applied product research.
  • Experience working with other researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers across product areas/teams.
  • Experience designing/developing hardware and software products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with workshop planning and facilitation.
  • Knowledge of a broad set of qualitative and user-centered design methods.
  • Understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate ideas/concepts with outstanding communication skills.

  • Manage projects to develop scripts and screeners; moderate, analyse, synthesize, and deliver results.
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to identify research topics to plan and execute both evaluative and iterative research. Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods.
  • Package insights into design tools and assets for product managers and designers to leverage (e.g., personas, design principles, scenarios, etc.).
  • Support project team members in transforming research findings and insights into innovative design solutions, through multiple design cycles.
  • Develop robust foundational research that helps drive the feature’s ongoing strategy.
