Our Commercial Digital Experience team is responsible for designing the journeys that bring our technology and products to life, creating the best possible experiences for our customers. We deliver the same attention to detail to each interaction as we do in the engineering of our machines. About The Role

As a Senior UX Researcher within the team, you will report into and directly work with our UX Research Lead and be joining a growing team of smart, expressive people given the encouragement, trust, and freedom to do the job we love. Working alongside the Design and Delivery teams you’ll play a key role in the development of our UX Research function, support other UX researchers with their projects and development, and advocate the user across the business. As someone looking to bolster their skillset and experience in the Commercial world of UX this is the perfect opportunity for you to deepen your knowledge and practical use of the latest research methodologies and practices, leading and collaborating on significant global research projects. You will inform decisions about our digital products, journeys and experiences through evidence based, user centred, high quality research.

Your responsibilities will include championing user centred design; planning and executing UX research projects; creating detailed research proposals and test plans to present to key stakeholders; setting up and running user-interviews; supporting and mentoring our team of UX Researchers; and writing research reports to relay research findings. You’ll forge strong relationships across the business with project managers, category teams and our counterparts globally, and you’ll work closely with our UX Research Lead to continuously challenge and enhance our approaches and operations.

About You

  • At least five years’ experience in a UX Research specialist role, using qualitative and quantitative research methods and applications
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent hands-on research) in psychology / human behaviours
  • Proficient at setting up, moderating, and analysing in-person interviews
  • Experience with online user-testing software and tools
  • Excellent knowledge of UX research, user centred design, UI, and interaction design
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach
  • Self-motivated, able to work well as part of an agile team, versatile and adaptable
