You’ll be part of the global UXD practice at Springer Nature and you’ll work with colleagues around the world, especially London and Berlin.
The job is currently remote. As we return to the office there will be a chance to work from home several days a week. If you currently live somewhere else but have the desire of relocating either in Lisbon or Berlin, please talk to us and we’ll figure out how to best support you.

We need to establish a more user-focused way of delivering our services and creating user experience goals that will achieve our business strategy. In order to do so we are creating special teams called Customer Experience Groups. The aim of these teams is to analyze the end to end experience, socialize the obstacles to achieving the user goals, define key opportunities, and collaborate with other teams to define a strategy that will not only serve the needs of our users with an excellent end to end experience but also align and unite all the areas responsible for delivering it.
You’ll join one of our new Customer Experience Groups. We need someone that can use above all their analytical thinking, planning skills, stakeholder engagement skills, to create a research strategy that will help us make decisions on existing products and formulate new strategic decisions.
You are a Senior User Researcher with multiple years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research. You have experience in researching the different stages of product development and you are always willing to try out new approaches to share and apply the findings of your research.You are able to conduct research and produce insights in English. You can communicate your research in a way that it’s easy for stakeholders to understand how to act on the findings. You have experience working with remote teams and you always do your best to involve stakeholders and team members from other countries in your research activities. You have experience working with marketing, sales, customer service teams and product development teams to align on market needs and share research insights to turn into actions.
What you will be doingWithin 3 months
You will start building an understanding of the different users and their behaviours with our products and services. Additionally, you will start familiarizing with our industry and domain.
