Senior UX Researcher

Retain International are building the next generation in resource management. We're looking for a Senior User Researcher to provide leadership, direction and communication in all areas relating to user and product research.

In this role you'll help improve our process, define strategic research plans and help build the team into an industry-leading research unit.

What you'll be doing:

• Iterative, customer-centric exploration of problems and solutions
• Plan, conduct and report qualitative and quantitative research activities including ethnographic research, interviews, field studies, diary studies, focus groups, co-creation activities and surveys
• Plan, conduct and report qualitative and quantitative evaluation activities to test the usability, experience and market-fit for our products and services, including in-person or remote usability testing and A/B testing
• Participate in design sprints and fast-paced cycles of opportunity identifications and elaborations and concept explorations
• Collaborate and build trusted relationships with product managers, designers, product marketing and engineers
• Participant recruitment across geos and segments
• Knowledge sharing of user insights, tools and processes with digital network teams as well as broadly within Sage
• Monitoring and continuously improving our services and solutions for better user experience and adoption
• Mentoring and supporting junior researchers within the team

What we're looking for:

• Extensive experience in User Research
• Experience across a range of qualitative methods including in-depth interviews, usability testing, diary studies; in person and remotely, for global audiences
• Be an authority in UX best practices and approaches, with a strong track record of leading complex research projects to success
• Be looked to for guidance by others and have experience delivering training and mentoring to others
• Excellent stakeholder management skills: you're a confident communicator, and up for the challenge of pushing the needs of readers into all areas of the business
• Strong collaboration skills and be prepared to work closely with different research and design disciplines
