Senior UX Researcher, Growth Product

The Growth Product Group is looking for an experienced researcher to join our team. You’ll be an embedded member of a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and highly iterative product group, while enjoying the support and community of a robust UX Research group. Our embedded partnership allows our researchers to have tremendous impact and autonomy as they solve problems that help the business grow.

The Growth Product Group expands the value and customer base across all HubSpot product through research and rapid form data experimentation. This complex discipline impacts all areas of the HubSpot product and explores the journey of our freemium users through acquisition, monetization, product onboarding, as well as broad strategic vision.

As a Senior UX Researcher in Growth, you’ll collaborate closely with a team of product and business analysts to assemble a strategic multi-method approach that will empower product teams to answer the most important questions we have about our customers. You’ll communicate results and actionable recommendations across the company to influence key decisions and product direction. You’ll think big about new areas, test concepts as they are being developed and evaluate products once they’re rolled out.

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Drive product decisions through research and influencing, in collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers across our teams in the US and Europe
  • Collaborate with product analysts and product experts to triangulate data from multiple sources
  • Strategize and socialize the learning objectives, research plan, and approach
  • Conduct research, synthesize data, and report findings to stakeholders
  • Use your findings to influence product teams to improve product utility, usability and satisfaction
  • Facilitate design thinking workshops with product teams to turn your insights into actionable next steps

We are looking for:

  • Strategists who influence teams to leverage research, customer insights and behavioral data to drive the roadmap for product
  • Success leading user research projects with demonstrated impact
  • Broad tool set of research techniques
  • Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous problems, guiding teams in the way forward through persuasive communication
  • Displays bias for action
  • Comfortable presenting at multiple levels, including executive
  • Ability to identify and articulate behavioral patterns, and use those to drive your research strategy
  • Awareness of your own and others’ biases and have the ability to minimize them in your work
