At Amazon, we’ve been investing deeply in 200+ cutting-edge AWS cloud services that provide unlimited options for customers to have the right cloud solution for their business, regardless of the size of the business or what they do. Today in AWS cloud services a new team is forming to design new experiences that further empower our customers to innovate, experiment and build with AWS technologies. The team requires innovators, disruptors, and problem solvers to evolve the cloud service experience. We’re doing this by applying the principles that made Amazon great; especially Customer Obsession and Think Big. A critical need for this team from the start is a Senior UX Researcher, so if you want to work with a team to break the cloud computing mold, think outside the box, and approach cloud computing from a new perspective then this could be the challenge for you!
This role has the best of both worlds when it comes to growing as a Senior UX Researcher. The position reports into the AWS User Research Team and is dedicated to supporting the OneAWS innovation team. So along with working on a new inspiring service team, you are also part of a large research team that can support you in the craft of user research and professional career development. You will be supported by a strong group of research peers, and a research operations team which makes sure you have the right tools to do your job and easy access to participants. Whether your personal career goals are to learn technologies, explore different research perspectives, or invent research approaches, the research management team will help you get there. We believe the best career situations are where you can grow your professional skills while applying them to fascinating problems. The AWS business is growing fast and we like our people to grow with it.
Our team also puts a high value on work-life balance. Striking a healthy balance between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here, which is why we aren’t focused on how many hours you spend at work or online. Instead, we’re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life—both in and outside of work.
