โ€About The Role

โ€This role can be fully remote.

This opportunity is open to those legally authorized to work in the United States and Canada.

Limeade is an employee experience company that inspires employee commitment and elevates company culture. Our mission is to improve well-being in the world. We are looking for a passionate, collaborative, and creative UX Researcher to help us bring our mission to life for our end users.

You are comfortable doing research across the product development lifecycle, from early discovery work to concept testing. You should be comfortable working with UX Designers to help them test and validate their work so they can iterate fast. You should easily be able to communicate insights from your work to make recommendations or share your ideas to visually oriented, informed user experience designers, product management and engineering teams. You should love brainstorming and welcome the results of empirical user testing. You should view collaboration with other designers, user testers and all company colleagues as instrumental for doing great work.

You are curious and have a learnerโ€™s mindset both regarding your approach to research as well as the world of our product experience. Not afraid to be wrong or question base assumptions, you constructively challenge team members. You are at ease leading workshops, facilitating the process with the UX team and non-designers alike. You are comfortable with a degree of ambiguity presented by early-stage work and enjoy the process of bringing clarity when faced with problems.

โ€Responsibilities

  • Drive impact through a range of research approaches and tools, including literature review, qualitative methods, usability, experimentation, and survey research
  • Work closely with other UX researchers and designers to help create research plans and specific studies, as well as communicate findings with stakeholders and drive impact of the work
  • Work independently in executing research, including data collection, analysis, reporting, share-outs, and knowledge consolidation
  • Generate and report out insights to teams with speed and efficiency
  • Advocate for the user and a user-centered process while keeping the approach grounded in the context of strategic business goals
  • Brainstorm and collaborate with an aligned and collaborative product development team
  • Share your skills and experience while being an active participant in UX team meetings and initiatives
  • Create and utilize frameworks and artifacts from the research process that enable the team to better understand observed opportunities and problems
  • Assist in building out our research knowledge base
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams within our product organization
  • We welcome qualified candidates of all races, creeds, genders, and sexuality to apply. To that end, we recognize that no one person perfectly fits this profile and amazing researchers come from diverse backgrounds. If this role seems interesting and you may not meet all of the criteria, we still urge you to apply.

Qualifications

  • Ability to demonstrate our values in an on-going and consistent way
  • A body of work that speaks to the depth of your experience
  • 6+ years of experience in product UX research
  • Knowledge of and skill with qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Experience with survey design and response effects
  • Experience in one or more phases of the product lifecycle, from early generative research to concept evaluation, usability research, and prototype testing
  • Experience with research testing tools to facilitate studies
  • Working knowledge with Figma
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Skilled in listening and incorporating constructive feedback
