We are building our in-house product team at Shapr3D and looking for a passionate User Experience Researcher.

Shapr3D is a super-ambitious company, aiming to revolutionize the computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D modeling industry, and to build a globally successful product. We are backed by top European investors including Point9 Capital (Revolut, Zendesk) and Creandum (Spotify). Shapr3D is a flagship app on iPad Pro, regularly getting featured by Apple. But what we’re most proud of is the love we receive from our global user base every day.

As a Researcher, you will be part of our Product team with a mission to help our organization better understand our users and their problems. Our rapidly growing user base is quite varied: we talk to professional engineers and industrial designers, as well as architects and furniture designers every week. These are super-exciting times, your research findings will directly impact what we build and how Shapr3D will grow as a product.

What you’ll do

  • Define research needs together with Product and Engineering teams, planning and executing research studies end-to-end
  • Develop user test plans, conduct in-person tests and evaluate findings
  • Lead customer interviews (mostly via remote interviews and occasionally via field visits) to support product decisions with insights
  • Plan and run surveys for product and customer success teams

Your background

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a User Experience Researcher position
  • Experience with user research methods (usability tests, user interviews surveys and etc)
  • Proven record of the impact your research work had on a product/service
  • Ability to talk with customers and understand the full story behind their frustrations
  • Ability to synthesize research findings and to articulate insights that will inform and inspire product decisions and design
  • Proactivity in identifying problems and recommending new research topics
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English
