User Researcher

We are looking for a user researcher to join us on a 3-month contract position, working on one of our government digital transformation projects. This contract is a remote working role with some travel to the client side (London) once a week. (Must be based in the UK). This is initially a 3-month contract with a strong possibility of an extension. We are looking for an ASAP start.

Key skills/responsibility:

  • Strong user research experience gained on large projects in public sector/government environments (ideally).
  • A user researcher with experience of strategic or consultative projects
  • Qualitative research
  • Co-design
  • Ability to conduct workshop facilitations
  • User stories
  • User testing
  • Usability
  • Accessibility
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong communication skills

IR35:

We have reviewed this role using the HMRC CEST tool checker and would consider this to fall outside of the IR35 rules. We confirm that we have taken reasonable care coming to this conclusion. We will complete an individual CEST assessment in line with HMRC guidance before this role commences and ultimately the result will depend on the specific information the successful applicant provides to us.
