Bonusly is seeking a Senior User Researcher that wants to be part of a high-growth company thriving in the rapidly evolving employee experience space. As the first full-time user researcher, you’ll serve as a strategic research partner to our team of product designers and product managers who are talking to users, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information to pursue opportunities that are highest in value to users and the business. You have the opportunity to define and lead the user research practice at Bonusly transforming stakeholder questions into actionable research plans and influence product and strategy decisions with your work.

As a key hire on a growing team, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape our processes and make a big impact on the company.

💪 At Bonusly, you’ll:

  • Establish a user research practice within Bonusly, helping us acquire and use customer insights to drive how we solve their problems
  • Act as the voice of the customer in every conversation, challenging assumptions, reframing questions and sharing how research can help answer them
  • Scope, plan, conduct, and analyze qualitative and/or quantitative research using a range of tools and approaches (e.g. in-depth interviews, concept testing, card sorting, surveys)
  • Evangelize insights across the company and influence product & strategy decisions
  • Partner closely with Design and Product Management on problem discovery, solution ideation and on validating the desirability, usability and viability of product ideas
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to connect research insights with lessons learned from prospective, current, and former customers

💚 You’re a great fit if you…

  • Have 5+ years of experience in a product development related field with a minimum of 2 years in a lead user research role
  • Have a track record of your insights impacting product decisions
  • Have a strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods, and the relevant expertise to determine which are most appropriate to answer strategic and tactical research questions and produce new insights
  • Have a business mentality, with an eye on metrics and company strategy
  • Are able to balance methodological rigor with scrappiness and creativity
  • Are passionate about our product and the possibilities in the employee experience market; B2B/HR background is a plus, but not required

  • Target Base: $105,000 - $135,000
