The User Research team is looking for a User Researcher that has a background in Human Centered Design, User Experience, Product Design, Psychology and/or Anthropology. The User Researcher will be working closely with the User Research Manager, UX design team, product managers, and other key stakeholders to apply mixed methods approaches to identify user needs, influence new ideas, and inform product design iterations.

The User Researcher will have a strong background in research and User Experience (UX). The person will also have strong communication skills, including the ability to understand and explain user needs and problems, test results and help ideate on solutions.

  • Write test plans, executing studies and delivering findings
  • Be customer-focused and dedicated to understanding and learning about customer needs and requirements
  • Be flexible and willing to try research methods that deliver value
  • Work with a multi-skilled, cross-functional team
  • Operate with a transparency mindset, communicating clearly and openly
  • Work with ambiguous requirements and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, both in the day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs

What makes you a great fit for the team:

  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience planning, conducting, analyzing and reporting research projects
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Ability to identify insights and present research results
  • Experience building and validating personas and journey maps
  • Experience with remote user testing and survey tools
  • Experience with research repositories is a plus
  • Experience with analytics tools is a plus
  • Experience with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy/compliance standards is a plus
  • Experience with WCAG 2.0/ADA-compliant products is a plus
  • Experience with content strategy and recommendations is a plus
  • Understanding of agile principles and ways of working
  • Experience building and launching SaaS products is a plus
  • Experience in / understanding of modern, cloud-native, microservices-based architecture is a plus
