🌍 Can you help us change the world?

Yes, you read that correctly. It sounds grand, but we’ve got big ideas at Mews. We’re transforming the world of hospitality, re-imagining the industry with a best-in-class cloud-based property management solution for hotels, hostels, apartments, and so much more.

Founded in 2012, Mews - a SaaS European scale-up - developed the first cloud-based mobile-enabled property management system that offers hotels and management companies a state-of-the-art integrated platform. The system provides a complete solution covering front-desk check-in, check-out, payments, guest information, inventory, and so on. At Mews our mission is to transform an entire industry with solutions that make hospitality more rewarding for everyone.

As a pre-IPO SaaS leader and the number one in hotel tech we are revolutionising property management with our cloud-based solutions. We’re driven by our mission to enable truly great service and customer experiences, but we don’t limit ourselves to the hospitality industry because in an environment where ideas and innovation are celebrated, we know that the sky's the limit.

πŸ§‘πŸ»β€πŸ’» About the role

We’re looking for an experienced research manager with deep knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research, analytics, business and technology understanding, and a vision of how a research team must grow in a fast-paced organization. A proactive leader at the core, capable of building strategies, analyzing the product from a top perspective, finding needs, and driving execution.

You will report to our DesOps director and work alongside Service Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and a large group of Product Designers across the entire company. Leveraging all your research passion into a product that will make a difference in the hospitality industry.

πŸ‘€ Your responsibilities

  • Help your team grow and provide the best of themselves every day.
  • Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, align visions, and assertively communicate results.
  • Be proficient with quantitative methods and analytics tools.
  • Be proactive on new tools, apply different research methods, or anything that can directly impact our business.
  • Identify metrics and thresholds that we need to chase to succeed.
  • Evangelize UX Research and identify opportunities to elevate research standards at Mews.
  • Prepare and facilitate design workshops, interviews, and similar activities across product teams.

Set yourself apart

You can earn extra points for hospitality knowledge. We all travel, you can expect discussions and tips for your future trips.

Hiring process & how to apply

Our hiring process is not written in stone, but you can expect an initial interview, a review of your past case studies, and a final interview.

Applications without an exceptional portfolio, that demonstrate experience in Digital Product Design and relevant design work, are required for consideration.

πŸŽ‰ What’s in it for you?

Did you know that Mews was voted the Best Place to Work in Hotel Tech for 2 years running? You do now. Most of that is down to our inspiring team, but part of it is because of some pretty amazing perks. As well as awesome colleagues and stimulating work, you'll get:

  • Laptop by your choice (Apple or Windows), monitor, keyboard, and mouse. πŸ’»
  • Company shares πŸ“ˆ
  • Unlimited holiday (no, this is not a typo) πŸ–
  • Health and wellness plans πŸ™πŸ½
  • Remote/flexible working πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
  • Regular team events, socials and a legendary annual company gathering, Mews Con (the only con that’s actually a pro) πŸ₯³
