Applause is the leader in digital experience quality and testing. User and customer experience solutions are an integral part of the services we provide to our clients. We are looking for a UX Research Program Coordinator to work with a prolific client in the SF Bay Area. The Program Coordinator has hands-on experience managing UX projects and has user research experience.

Responsibilities:

The UX (User Experience) Research Program Coordinator works closely with the UX researchers, ResearchOps team, and client to plan, recruit participants, and execute a variety of remote UX studies. The Coordinator is responsible for multiple concurrent projects within the program and supports multiple researchers at once to ensure the success of their studies. Superb attention to detail and time-management skills are essential for being successful in this role.

A successful UX Research Program Coordinator is a self-starter, organized, detail-oriented with good time-management skills, and able to collaborate with people from different teams within Applause and the client’s organization. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities include:  

  • Project planning, including managing milestones, dates and deliverables
  • Ensuring that all included parties have the required information to drive towards delivery of the projects
  • Establishing and maintaining a close working relationship with the client teams and Applause teams
  • Tracking projects, timelines, and deliverables
  • Coordinating calendars and managing client meetings. Be a proactive facilitator!
  • Quality oversight of the deliverables, including study report and user videos

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, HCI, or related major
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in project management
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in client-facing roles
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in UX research
  • Proficiency with Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides and a particular emphasis using Sheets custom functions/formulas, conditional formatting, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Flexibility to accommodate unplanned client and project changes
  • Proactive, willingness to learn
  • Able to work effectively in autonomous capacity
