At Twin, we have achieved unprecedented medical results for chronic disease reversal (12 medical papers published in top journals) using our unique patent-pending Digital Twin technology (5 patents filed), which analyzes complex biosignals from wearable sensors, predicts metabolic outcomes using ML, and recommends highly-personalized treatments based on the metabolic profile of each patient. Our interdisciplinary team consists of engineers, scientists, and medical doctors who collaborate closely to develop these technologies and deliver exceptional health outcomes. We launched our product in 2018 with an initial focus on diabetes; doctors and coaches use our IoT- and ML-based software platform to improve the health of diabetic patients every day.

In this key role, you will work closely with the Product Design and Product Management teams to research our end user needs and propose enhancements across our product experience. The ideal candidate should have experience leading and executing user research end to end for a native mobile product.

This position may be partially or fully remote. We are based in Mountain View and Chennai.

‍Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with product designers, product managers, and other team members to develop user research plans for design work in progress.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our key user personas and their end to end experience with our products, analyzing patterns and behaviors to derive insights and recommendations.
  • Create hypotheses, set research objectives, and reach unbiased conclusions
  • Plan and conduct quantitative and qualitative research, including usability studies, A/B tests, user interviews, surveys, and more.
  • Validate assumptions that will guide the product team's designs, priorities, and plans.
  • Analyze user engagement data to identify pain points and propose UX improvements.
  • Clearly articulate your design recommendations and defend your point of view with data.

Qualifications

  • You must have strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • 2+ years of experience leading user research for a product company; experience in healthcare a plus.
  • Experience establishing and managing your own process.
  • Experience using industry-standard research methods and software.
