The Microsoft Azure UX team is looking for an experienced, motivated, creative, and customer-focused UX researcher to help impact the future of Azure - the world’s computer. You will join a fast-paced, growing, and passionate team. We strive to deliver customer-centric, elegant solutions for complex enterprise scenarios with high business impact. In this role you would work alongside the Azure Command Line Interface (CLI) Tools team to improve the experience of developers using command line tools such as Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell and Terraform to manage Azure, as well as learn from and grow in a vibrant global community of designers and researchers.

The Azure UX team supports our employees in several locations around the country. This job has the option to be located in one of our hubs: Redmond, WA
You have strong research skills and have toolkit of research practices and methods. You know how to deliver meaningful insights for a specific product, and how those insights can apply to other contexts. You are detail-oriented and thorough, but flexible enough to work within time and product constraints. Most importantly, you’re a passionate advocate for our customers throughout the development process and can prove how good user experience leads to business value.
You will be responsible for planning, data collection, analysis and building an action plan based on insights for a component or feature area.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
