Responsibilities

‍Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX Researcher in Miamisburg, OH. Summary: An experienced Senior UX Researcher is required on a temporary contract basis to conduct an initial stage of user research to inform the redesign of an existing product. This work will provide the basis of a business case and provide insights to Product Managers and UX Designers to inform design and product development decisions.

‍Requirements

  • 7 years of experience of user research planning and execution and who has worked as a researcher with senior stakeholders
  • Successful applicants will have worked in a software development context previously and will be self-motivated and comfortable working in a flexible way
  • They should have an understanding of/hands-on experience in the design thinking process

The Successful Applicant Should Have Experience Of

  • Designing experiments to suit the research question, project stage and timescales
  • Planning and conducting generative and evaluative user research, applying a range of methods such as contextual interviews and usability testing
  • Analyzing and reporting findings; Giving recommendations for future iterations based on insights
  • Working collaboratively with other stakeholders
  • Presenting to larger teams
