About the Role

As a UX Researcher on the Celsius design team, you’ll help us build empathy, understanding and trust with our customers and ensure that our products and services exceed their expectations. You’ll apply a range of research methods, both qualitative and quantitative, in order to translate observations into actionable insights. Researchers use human-centered design to guide product development from ideation through to launch and beyond. You’ll play a critical role in helping us shape new products, improve our existing offerings and bring the next 100 million people into crypto.


  • Build a deep understanding of our customers as well as future prospects, and advocate passionately for experiences that address their needs
  • Inform product development by synthesizing observations into actionable insights
  • Collaborate closely with our multi-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and measure product performance and customer experience
  • Apply a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to understand user behavior including user interviews, usability testing, A/B testing, prototyping, ethnographic research and surveys
  • Articulate well researched points of view based on data, and make clear recommendations on design direction through regular communication with your teams and the wider organization
  • Continuously evolve our UX research tools and best practices
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other designers on your team


  • Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfortable applying a variety of qualitative and quantitative user research methods
  • Ability to plan, execute and communicate user research within different contexts and project constraints
  • Experience working on consumer-facing products and services
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and constantly evolving industry


  • Knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency
  • Familiarity with agile software practices including SCRUM
  • Comfortable using tools such as Jira and Confluence
