‍Address user experience design and product definition questions with actionable research insights. Execute on initiatives that help transform the organizational culture to center around the end users.

‍Key Activities

Create research plans to align designers, product managers, engineers with the research objective, timeline, methods (e.g., user interviews, usability tests, focus groups, analytics, surveys), etc.
Create participant screeners, self-recruit, or partner with vendors to recruit participants.
Create session guides, moderate sessions, synthesize data.
Turn findings and insights into engaging formats such as top-line summaries, highlight reels, present to stakeholders.
Engage designers, product managers, engineers in all phases of the research from understanding user/business goals to using the actionable research insights to meet the goals.
Work closely with designers to build user persona, user journey map, brainstorm design ideas, validate concepts, and measure UX success.

Job Requirements

Two years full-time experience
Preferred majors are in social & behavioral sciences and human-focused sciences (e.g., Computer Interaction, Engineering Psychology, Cognitive Engineering, Interaction Design, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Human Factors, Information Systems/Decision Sciences)
Portfolio or work samples highlighting research process and approach for software applications

Preferred Requirements

Master’s Degree in social & behavioral sciences and human-focused sciences (e.g., Computer Interaction, Engineering Psychology, Cognitive Engineering, Interaction Design, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Human Factors, Information Systems/Decision Sciences)
