‍Summary

‍At Morgan & Morgan user experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive and innovative products that our users love and depend on each day. We strive to learn and understand our users’ needs, behaviors, and emotions to gather insights that inform product strategy and design.You will do so by conducting primary research, exploring the behaviors and motivations of our users through methods like field visits, user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and logs analysis. Your research will help us create useful, usable, and delightful new products and features for our users as well as continually innovating on our existing products. You’ll inspire change at all stages of product development by delivering compelling, written, in-person and visual presentations on your findings. Compensation range for this position is $70,000.00 -$90,000.00

‍Responsibilities

• Design and conduct research surrounding Salesforce using appropriate methodologies from fields like Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors and Psychology.
• Examine and interpret existing research and product designs to provide guidance to the UX team and generate hypotheses.
• Define and lead the UX research strategy for a specific product area.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, at all levels, to define useful measures/metrics and evaluate user experience at scale.
• Communicate research findings in a convincing and actionable manner for audiences that include non-technical peers, the product team and potentially executives in some instances.
• Work with stakeholders and team members to generate hypotheses and develop plans for high-quality, high-impact research.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience managing research initiatives in a software product environment.
• Research design experience and the ability to utilize various methods.
• Experience in a variety of software product spaces or applied research.
• Excelling communication skills; experience communication findings with cross functional partners, executives stakeholders and executives to drive impact.
• Ability to understand the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
