About The Position

As a UX researcher you are a design professional working at the cross-road of user needs, business requirements, and technology limitations - your day-to-day job requires a good understanding of UX research methods and ability to apply research insights in collaboration with product designers and product managers. You enjoy complex research challenges, concepts and validating ideas with customer research, testing prototypes, and iterating to optimize our design solution. You will be working both on product strategy research and day to day usability testing and discovery phase

You care about user needs, behaviours, habits, motivations, pain points, jobs to be done and processes to deliver clear insights and deepen our understanding of user paths to meet customer expectations. You are thriving in a fast-paced agile environment where research is part of every scrum sprint and core of design work.You exhibit systemic thinking about all of our projects — considering how an isolated piece may impact a larger system, or defining a system that can be used by other researchers and designers. You consider how your work fits within the whole user experience.

Key Responsibilities a UX Researcher At Showpad

  • Deliver insights and recommendations based on agile UX/product research to ideate on solutions that measurably improve the core workflows of our target users
  • Create personas, customer journey, user flows, mental models and use other methods to analyse and present your research findings
  • Develop metrics to track important goals and improve general user experience in Showpad
  • Produce research artefacts for both formative and evaluative studies
  • Organize workshops, research sessions and collabs to foster a collaborative environment; work closely with designers, product managers and engineers to build the best possible experience for our users
  • Evangelize UX research in organization

Skills And Qualifications We Are Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience in a related position, experience in UX/product research, both qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Ability to mentor and guide product teams on every stage of product development
  • Expertise in conducting IDIs, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, co-design sessions and workshops
  • Experience in creating personas and customer journeys
  • Proficiency in working with prototyping tools
  • Effective time and project management skills
  • Energy, passion, and a healthy sense of humour
  • Experience with ResearchOps is a plus
  • Experience in building UX strategy is a plus
  • Flexible and able to have sufficient hours of overlap in order to collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
