Job Description

‍The bswift UX team is seeking a passionate, strategic and curious UX Researcher to join the User Experience / Human Centered Design and Development Team. The UX Researcher will work closely with UX and cross-functional team members to develop and implement strategic research plans that uncover both business and user needs. The UX Researcher advocates for the business and ROI value of research for bswift and our clients, and conducts research to enhance bswift products and services as well as inform our product roadmaps and priorities.

The UX Researcher will develop and inform processes and tools with the research team; and serve as an internal research expert, evangelizing the business value of UX research and providing guidance with research strategy and methodology.

‍Pay Range

‍The typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,000Maximum: 167,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

‍Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience developing and implementing strategic research plans that address key questions within the product team
  • Experience across all phases of the UX Research lifecycle, including recruiting, moderating, synthesizing and reporting
  • A solid portfolio showcasing a variety of methods, and instances where you have identified the best methodology for the research initiative at hand
  • Ability to effectively translate insights into key recommendations and design direction
  • Advocate for research and communicate findings across various teams and levels of bswift, from product teams to executives
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects at one time
  • Experience with both generative and evaluative research.

‍Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with defining and leading end-to-end UX research projects
  • Experience planning for and leading strategic research workshops
  • Experience working in a fast-paced software environment
  • Client-facing research and presentation experience a plus
  • Experience with Machine Learning/AI-based research a plus
  • Experience with remote tools, like Alchemer and UserZoom
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
