Log my Care is one of the fastest-growing Health Technology start-ups in the UK, having quadrupled its customer base since the pandemic began. The care sector is mostly analogue and paper-based, losing out on the many benefits that technology can bring and we’re on a mission to make person-centred technology accessible to everyone. We’re on our way to becoming the world’s leading digital care management platform, giving the care community the tools they deserve, empowering them to deliver outstanding, preventative care.

We’re entering an exciting new growth phase and are now looking to expand our tight-knit product team by bringing in someone to take a lead on the UX Research.

As a UX Researcher at Log my Care, you will:

  • Own the discovery process for new features and products
  • Facilitate and lead discovery workshops
  • Do user interviews and site visits to care services (field research)
  • Manage user testing, mostly focused on validating the value for the user
  • Translate features and processes into easy-to-use and logical user flows
  • Build a logical and consistent information architecture
  • Work closely with the Product Manager and Product Designer to ideate solutions for our customers
  • Identify edge cases and make decisions on how to handle them
  • Understand the interconnected system as a whole and provide solutions holistically
  • Create functional specifications, logical flows and low fidelity wireframes and communicate them with the rest of the team
  • Own the analytics framework and KPIs to measure impact of new features
  • Review analytics and come up with recommended and actionable use cases

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 3+ years as a UX designer or Business analysis, ideally in a high-growth environment
  • Track record understanding requirements and translating them into usable and valuable user journeys
  • Capacity to structure complex and large amount of information in an easy to use and accessible way
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and logical thinking
  • Experience working on challenging products/features and ability to solve complex problems
  • You're mission-driven and passionate about having a social impact
  • Strong organisational ability when running multiple projects
  • Start-up attitude - you're comfortable in a rapidly changing environment where the answer is not always clear, working with the resources at hand and delivering high-quality work.
