Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) is an end-to-end online retail platform combining micro-service based software with modular and scalable hardware. It brings together innovative technologies such as our highly automated warehouses, we call them Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs), with market leading software such as our highly efficient routing engines or our highly optimized supply chain & forecasting systems.
This role provides advanced UX research expertise to help better understand best-in-class, global ecommerce user experiences and journeys, localised benchmarking insights, and retailer competitive intelligence.
As a member of the Solutions Product Marketing team, the UX Researcher will collaborate with the Solutions Commercial, Product Management, and Ocado Technology UX teams to understand the online grocery shopping journey experience and any relevant global nuances. As an expert in UX design, your critical eye will drive global ecommerce grocery competitive analysis and insights to help shape the OSP platform product development and vision.
This is an exciting brand new role to support the Solutions team in our goals to ensure that we have market leading insights.
As UX Researcher you will develop ongoing market/landscape and industry insight to identify gaps and/or competitive advantage and use your experience to actively use quantitative data to supplement qualitative research efforts helping ensure continuous and commercially-sound improvements.
