Join Cera as our first UX Researcher, and you’ll be taking the lead on establishing this critical function as we grow our Product and UX teams.
Your work will have a huge impact on the way that care is experienced and delivered, by grounding everything we do in a deep understanding of customers, across every aspect of delivering domiciliary social care.
The role is remote, with occasional visits to our London head office to meet and collaborate with your colleagues and stakeholders.
Of course, as a UX Researcher, you’ll be passionate about getting insight directly from customers to gain a deep understanding of them as we design, build and iterate our products and experiences.
This will mean facilitating online research sessions, as well as visiting our network of care branches and professional carers across the UK to see them in action first-hand.
You will occasionally shadow a professional carer as they make care visits in our customer’s homes - to see the incredible job they do for yourself and to talk to those receiving care and their family members.
The insight you generate will ensure that Cera’s product experiences are the best that they possibly can be, based on genuine customer needs.
This enables Cera to achieve its goal of providing great care to all of our customers whilst improving the experience of everyone involved in care delivery.
You’ll be part of our small but growing UX Team, which forms part of our wider Product team. You'll work remotely with colleagues across the business including product, design, data, engineering and operations.
You’ll build a deep knowledge of our customers and stakeholders and a passion for user centred design and its application to our technology and care delivery.
As our first UX Researcher, you will establish and embed UX Research within Cera and will be a true voice for the customer across all that we do.
You’ll have the ability to juggle multiple projects and will understand how to prioritise your work and time based on an understanding of the impact of your deliverables to your stakeholders and projects.
You thrive in mission-driven organizations, working with collaborative teams who are passionate about utilising technology and building products to better the world around us.
You will have a background as a UX Researcher for at least 2 years and will champion best research practices. You have the ability to stay laser focused on our end users, conducting internal and external research to ensure our teams are building useful and delightful solutions to deliver our mission.
