About the job

  • 4 years of experience working in the UX industry or related.
  • Bachelor’s degree in UX research, human-centered design, industrial design or related field of study, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
  • Experience leading and conducting generative and foundational research and creating design frameworks and experience maps. 
  • Experience in integrating qualitative and quantitative insights and other points of view to drive forward product strategy.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and facilitating workshops with them.  
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think beyond the task at hand.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Key Responsibilities *

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the design and user experience of digital products, leveraging qualitative and quantitative end user insights. 
  • With minimal direction from leadership, exercise considerable judgment to make decisions associated with UX research activities to drive e-commerce product strategy.
  • Lead and conduct generative and foundational as well as evaluative research and create design framework s and experience maps.
  • Facilitate product discovery kickoffs and experience mapping activities to ensure the right problem is being solved, gaps are identified, and the right teams are involved at proper time in the product lifecycle.
  • Make product recommendations to client’s senior leaders based on UX research findings.  
  • Build partnerships and working agreements with teams and leaders across the company.
  • Guide product teams on UX research, user-centered design and design thinking/innovation best practices.
