About The Role

Onfleet is seeking an Associate UX Researcher who will work with the product team to assist with research efforts in order to increase empathy for our end-users, improve the user experience, and increase the value of our products.

What You’ll Do

  • Empathize with our clients and product end-users, always acting as their advocate
  • Collaborate to plan research strategies with appropriate methodologies
  • Assist with planning studies, from strategizing, recruiting, script writing, to storytelling, and so forth
  • Assist or lead research activities including surveys, interviews, usability testing (moderated and unmoderated), remote for now but in-person hopefully soon
  • Conduct competitive and comparative analyses and reports
  • Create UX research deliverables, usability reports, and presentations
  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to determine actionable insights and provide recommendations that drive high impact

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience with design thinking methods and evaluative research
  • Experience with remote and unmoderated research tools
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Exceptional listening, collaborative, and organizational skills
  • A portfolio showing past work experience and deliverables
  • 2+ years of UX research experience
  • UX design skills - wireframing, prototyping
  • A degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Located in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate to the Bay Area once we can return to our San Francisco Headquarters

  • Experience tracking events/feature usage with analytics tools
