Job Description

Snow is looking for an Experienced UX Researcher to join the User Experience team.

You will be working with UX researchers, UX designers, product managers, business analysts, and engineers to help drive User research aimed to support the business transition, ideation activities, product discovery as well as leading research process of underutilized user audiences.

You'll be in charge of user research in the domain you will be part of, both strategically and operationally.β€―

You'll be in charge of leading hands-on end-to-end research projects, from idea to development, while operating collaboratively in an agile lean environment of quick iterative research. As part of the product development life cycle, you'll shape and test hypotheses as well as conduct fundamental research.

Qualifications

We believe you have 6+ years of experience in user research or a similar area, as well as a deep understanding of usability and UX concepts.

You've worked in an agile environment before, defining research needs and performing research (including user testing) . In addition, we believe you have the potential to combine qualitative and quantitative data to generate recommendations that can help shape business strategies and product roadmaps by incorporating user data and analysis into accessible and actionable objects.

To be successful in the role you must

  • Have a degree in HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, or in a related field
  • Have extensive experience working in user research
  • Have an end-to-end experience with all aspects of the user research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, communicating, budgeting research)
  • Master a range of research methods
  • Be an engaging storyteller and communicator, able to speak fluently to business people, designers, engineers and other partners
  • Know how to embed user-centred design practices into an agile workflow to deliver timely findings
  • Be able to provide publications and/or online portfolio of user research projects (or samples of preview work) - to which you have made a significant contribution
  • Previous experience of team leading or mentoring
