EHG is very excited to be recruiting for a UX Researcher to join its expanding team! As a UX Researcher, you’ll have an impact from idea conception to product launch and improvement. The UX Researcher will set up and conduct research and customer testing, interpret findings, and communicate insights in an actionable manner to support new feature development as well as ongoing optimisation. The UX Researcher will also work with Product Owners and Product Managers, Service Designers (Journey Managers), and Product Marketing as their primary stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trust and credibility with stakeholders through empathy and open communication.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Journey Managers and Product Marketing to set research and business goals and resolve any conflicts to ensure the users’ best interests.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designers to design rigorous research methodologies while flexibly considering timeline and scope.
  • Identify important research questions and implement user-centred research methods that translate to digital features and design.
  • Draw from a breadth of tools and approaches to investigate UX questions such as user interviews, surveys, ethnographic research, and usability tests.
  • Balance quantitative and qualitative research methods to drive product direction and implementation.
  • Compile and present findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable, and compelling way.
  • Advocate for research best practices with our clients and across the company.


Essential requirements for this role

  • Experience conducting research with a focus on digital or UX.
  • A strong foundation of research design and can maintain research integrity.
  • Experience conducting mixed methods research and are comfortable using quantitative or qualitative research.
  • Experience conducting research within the digital and/or mobile product space.
  • Client management experience and the ability to design research engagements around business needs.
  • Ability to select appropriate research methodologies while considering timelines and constraints.
  • Comfortable designing and conducting interviews, surveys, ethnographic research, usability tests, competitive landscapes, secondary research (e.g. literature reviews), etc.
  • Ability to recognise patterns, disentangle confounding variables, and synthesize information.
  • Experience presenting complex ideas in a compelling and actionable way.
  • Experience within a SaaS environment highly desirable.
