In addition to issue detection and analytics, Drive provides the tools needed to turn analytic insight into action such as event, case, and work order management.

THE ROLE

The core mandate of the UX Researcher is to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to drive our hypothesis generation by delivering insights about our users ie, searching for actionable insight. Reporting to a Director of Product Management, you will help us understand how people use our product, what problems they may have, and what works for them. You will seek to gain insights into the intent of people's product usage through patterns through collected data. You will also try to measure the quality of experience using self-reported data (surveys) , behavioral data , and other research techniques.

As UX Researcher, you will be one o f the UX specialists on the Product Management team, where our goal is to delight customers in ways that not only meet their requirements but also exceed their expectations. The UX team plays an integral part to inspire and inform product development by gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, needs, and behaviors of people who use our product. The team collaborates closely with each other, with engineering and product management to create industry-leading products that deliver value for our users. In addition to working on our existing product suite, you will be an important part of defining the next generation of our user interface in collaboration with the UX team, product managers, and other stakeholders. .

Responsibilities

Design, plan and execute exploratory, generative, and evaluative user research methods that deliver customer-focused insight to all of our products; Organize user research from recruiting to reporting; Lead in the translation of findings into actionable results, empowering product teams with a clear understanding of where to go next; Champion research and build positive relationships with executives, stakeholders, designers, product managers, and engineers; Build a holistic picture of our customers is it through journeys, personas, or other methodologies; Mentor the product teams on what outstanding user research looks like, getting teams excited about the benefits it provides; Discover opportunities by activating design thinking and concept-making through facilitation; Lead complex research at scale employing diverse research methodologies (such as interviews, surveys, usability testing) and appropriate analysis methods; Conduct discovery and validation research activities, qualitative and quantitative research; Use your research expertise to uncover novel insights about our products and users; Manage your own time and understand how your work ladders up into strategic and commercial priorities; Work on different projects as required.

Qualifications

3+ years experience working as a user experience researcher, ideally on B2B products with the complex subject matter and/or multip le user personas; M.S./M.A. or Ph.D. in a relevant field (or relevant practical experience); Strong evangelist of a customer-focused approach, providing impact through insights; Independently driven problem-solver who enjoys working with others to establishing consensus and facilitate change; Demonstrated understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process; Ability to scope and structure complex research projects involving multiple cross-functional teams; Ability to actively organize teams to participate in user-focused development, advocating for the user at all stages; Ability to prepare large projects unaided, organizing users, stakeholders, and teams to br ing together efficient research; Can solely operate on large scale projects, producing actionable insights; Practical experience in scaling user research methods and processes throughout the product life cycle; Experience promoting User Research within a growing organization; Strong oral and written communication skills in a must.

Additional Asset

Experience with UI instrumentation and user behavior analytics (UBA) is a plus Experience with Google Analytics, AppCues , Hot Jar , Heap Analytics , DataDog Experience in the renewable energy field Experience in customer experience research (CX) Experience with CRM (Salesforce) , PowerBI and Jira is a real plus Experience with EnjoyHQ , Miro , & Figma Speaking French is a plus!
