How To Contribute To Our Vision

  • Lead and facilitate UX workshops with both internal and external customers and users with the goal to identify pain points and understand customers and users’ needs
  • Mediate between different parties, like stakeholders, customers, POs etc.; for this, a psychology background might be helpful too
  • Help to facilitate a UX research toolkit together with our lead UX researcher
  • Translate research and workshop results into operable structures like user journeys, wireframes and other information architecture fragments to facilitate the conception of new products, services and features
  • Understand dependencies and opportunities in digitalization of both internal and external processes
  • Apply methods like Usability Testing, Card Sorting, Ethnographical Studies and Expert Interviews (we consider the last one to be quite important and you might get to know why) and have a healthy distance to the importance of processes and methods over results (you might have to read this sentence twice, but especially the last part is quite important)
  • Facilitate the ramp-up of a UX research unit in the company

What You Need To Make a Difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

  • Diploma or master’s degree in Psychology, HCI or other cognitive sciences
  • 5+ years of proven work & profound experience in the field of Digital Product Design
  • Possible scientific work experience (e.g. research fellowship at university or institutions like DLR, Fraunhofer, KIT…)
  • Familiar with working in complex environments like enterprise companies is beneficial to everybody
  • Readiness to relocate temporarily, approx. <20% of your time
  • Experience in industrial HMI context is a plus
  • Being able to accept a design driven environment
  • English fluency, while German, Spanish or Danish are also welcome as second languages
