About The Hiring Group

The PeopleInsight team is a collaborative group of Business Analysts, Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers, Software Development Engineers, Support Engineers, Data Scientists, Economists, Product Managers, Designers and Researchers that studies a workforce numbering in the hundreds of thousands. Job responsibilities
Success in this role will be delivering research that informs a product vision that makes science and people a natural combination. To do that, customer obsession and collaboration will be essential. You will identify and prioritize the team’s research needs (both stated and unstated) and deliver actionable insights quickly and with high quality, have the experience (and foresight) to know which methods to use to answer various UX Research questions spanning from generative to evaluative research throughout all stages of development, and experience using multiple qualitative research methods. Understand the big picture for product vision, influence strategy, and deliver both short- and long-term user needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science or other related behavioral and/or technology fields
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience conducting applied UX research in an industry setting
  • End-to-end experience conducting all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
  • Experience applying user research methods including semi-structured interviews, field research, surveys, questionnaire design, diary studies, and usability studies
  • Experience working with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into research questions and research designs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree or PhD in Human-computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or similar
  • Experience with international research
  • Demonstrated success influencing product and design decisions with research insights
