What You Will Be Doing

" Support iterative design and development for a complex native app
via Figma

" Create low to mid fidelity mockups, wireframes, storyboards and clickable prototypes

" Deliver the above as artifacts to product and project managers by the start of the Agile Sprint. Work with engineers directly to clarify and elaborate during the Sprint.

" Research and document competitive space (social networks)

" Work with senior UX/UI lead to identify different personas

" Create personas and document features by demographic and psychographic segmentation (also geographic and behavioral)

" Conduct surveys, and focus groups (research design, survey design, moderation, participant screening, etc.)

" Run workshops and informal Lunch & Learns to get input and feedback from real people

" Coordinate with designers, developers, product managers, and analytics experts.

" Deliver key data driven insights and recommended actions in a persuasive manner that influence client decisions and drive the decision-making process

" Use site metrics to inform site/application/mobile design refreshes and redesigns.

" Be a strong liaison between company & analytics team and consumer research team

" Craft and socialize research planning documents (research plans, screeners, moderators guides).

" Design and field primary research including moderation (UX testing, site intercept surveys, panel surveys, etc.).

" Analyze data (quantitative and qualitative) and prepare multi-media (picture in picture video clips) key findings reports.

" Generates actionable insights that serve as a catalyst for product innovation.

" Stay abreast of key trends in the fields of human factors and user experience research.

What You Need for this Position

" Experience with large-global UX research.

" 2-3 years of experience

" Familiarity with UX testing software

" Familiarity with crafting personas

" Experience with Information Architecture (card sorting)

" Past Experience with optimalworkshop.com/solutions/research, mechanical turk, virtual and in person testing using

  • Gazeplots (qualitative)
  • Gaze replays (qualitative)
  • Heatmaps (quantitative)

" Experience with Typography
